“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
– William Butler Yeats
Over the course of my career, I’ve been honored to instruct students at language institutes, colleges, and universities, both in person or online, in a variety of subjects, including: Beginning French; Intermediate French; Conversational French; French and Francophone Literature and Culture; Beginning English; Intermediate English; Skillful Reading; Skillful Writing; Rhetoric & Composition; Foundations of Writing and Communication; Applied Writing and Communication; Composition I; Composition II; Translation; Creative Writing; Poetry, Fiction, Nonfiction; and more.
I have developed syllabi and been involved in a wide-range of curriculum design and course development initiatives, writing and creating educational content based on precise instructional goals and timelines. I have also participated in the creation of textbooks and digital learning programs.
As a firm believer in the joy brought about by lifelong learning and the power of curiosity to transform our lives, I am especially excited to contribute to the learning journeys of non-traditional students and any individual on a path of reinvention.
I look forward to sharing student feedback, syllabi, or curricula for insights into my teaching work.
